Capital Pay International has announced a strategic partnership with Viaservice, a member of the Swiss-based Viatrans Group, focused on enhancing containerised sea-freight services to and from East Africa.

According to Capital Pay, the collaboration combines its digital and financial-management tools with Viaservice's trade-facilitation and digital-finance capabilities to unlock more streamlined and efficient trade operations across the region.

What it means for shippers

For shippers and freight forwarders, the company says the partnership is intended to reduce costs, improve accountability and provide real-time visibility of cargo. Capital Pay's Digital Tracking System is being integrated with Viaservice's logistics capabilities to support faster container turnaround times and more efficient operations for shipping lines.
