Capital Pay International has entered a strategic long-term partnership with clearing-agent associations across Tanzania. According to the company, the agreement was officially witnessed by the Tanzania Revenue Authority in Dar es Salaam.
Aims of the partnership
Capital Pay says the partnership is intended to strengthen the operational framework for clearing agents nationwide, support the growth of local clearing-agent companies and create employment, while easing financial pressures on businesses by reducing container-deposit fees.
The company says its digital platform will support government revenue collection through real-time tax payments and encourage clearing agents to transition toward fully paperless operations.
